His father being a distinguished soldier, Tarma immediately entered the army's training school of special tactics and combat upon graduating junior high school. He used his rescue of the president at the age of 20 to get assigned to the Government Force's PF Squad and met up with Marco, who became his best friend. Learning Marco was assigned to the counteroffensive in the Great War, Tarma volunteered too. The two survived this fearsome battle. Marco and he subsequently were promoted, and Tarma became a captain. During down-time, he often takes pleasure ribbing the super-serious Marco but holds him in the highest regard as a warrior. Tarma's hobby is making customized motorcycles and his skill puts the pros to shame. After the first "Morden War," he hoped to leave the army and open a bike shop, but postponed his plans after the higher-ups desperately begged him to stay.
